NOTES AND MILESTONES: Follow HWY 168 East to Huntington Lake. There are places where HWY 168 is also called Tollhouse Road, but keep following the signs for HWY 168! HWY 168 is very windy and only two lanes most of the way. Just past the town of Prather, at the Junction of HWY168 and Lodge Road, there is a stop sign with a Park and Ride on your right. Turn left at the stop sign and head up HWY 168. This will become a four-lane highway for a while until in narrows again to two-lanes just before Shaver Lake. You will pass through the town of Shaver Lake, then Tamarack Lodge and Ski Area will be on your right and finally Sierra Summit Ski Area, again on your right. We are located just 2.5 Miles Past Sierra Summit. HWY 168 ends at Huntington Lake Road and Kaiser Pass Road. Keep following Huntington Lake Road 1 MI to Lakeshore Resort. Lakeshore looks like a small town with a Saloon, Restaurant, General Store and Lodge on the right and across from the Saloon is the Post Office. Welcome! You made it!

Please check in for Cabins and RVs. Before 5:00 pm, please register in the Reservations Office in the summer and the General Store in the winter. If you arrive after 5:00 pm you will need to register in the Saloon. If the Saloon is closed, they will tape a map on the Saloon door, or you may refer to the map included with this confirmation email. Be sure to know your cabin number! Cabins are located up the driveway to the right of the Lodge Hall. Go to your assigned cabin, the cabin door will be left unlocked, porch light on and the heat on during the winter. Please pick up your key and sign in at the Reservation Office (or General Store in the Winter) in the morning,

**Note: If you enter a street address for Lakeshore, CA - GPS and Internet maps send you through the town of Big Creek, this road is closed in the winter, do not follow their directions!
